PROCEDENCIA
2013 | GENERATIVE PERFORMANCE
Procedencia is a live-performance piece using code, analog-generated graphics, and live electronic sounds. This piece was conceived as a first part of a tryptic. It was our first collaboration with the great French-Mexican duo Mr. Eddy (Tana Barbier and Lisa Gervassi)—a story of birth, fracture, connection, discovery, loss, and closure.
After traveling at various festivals in Mexico City in 2013, the piece was performed once again on May 19th (2016) at The Santa Barbara Center for Art, Science, and Technology (SBCAST). I presented two screenings performing the live visuals using MrEddy's fixed recorded audio.
