276N MODULAR NOTATION

2017-2019   |   GRAPHIC NOTATION   MODULAR SYNTHESIS

These series of experiments were done under the MAT276N: Introduction to Modular Synthesis course taught by Curtis Roads. It was our first approach to modular synthesizers. Nine explorations were initially recorded. Each sound featured an experimental form of fixed visual representation. I was interested in finding alternative kinetic languages to share these modular sounds visually. This project marked the beginning of a new sound era for me and led to additional modular exploration and a notational system. The project is continuously updated with new graphic scores.
